Executive Members
Meet our Executive Members!
President
Holly Lammert
“Being in a sorority is more than the stereotype of partying and having pillow fights and dance parties in the house, it is becoming closer to your sisters through a bond that is greater than anyone can ever imagine. Through the bond of Alpha Chi, you will meet your best friends that will be there for you for the rest of your life! I was so happy to join Alpha Chi my freshmen year because my older sister was in the chapter at the time I went through recruitment, and now my younger sister is in the chapter at the same time! My two sisters are not only my biological sisters and my best friends, but now we share the bond of sisterhood in Alpha Chi Omega. I can honestly say that being in this chapter has provided for me the best experience of my life!”

High School: Duchesne High School
Major: Hospitality and Restaurant Administration
Description of Position: As president, you are not only the role model for the entire chapter and the person that people look toward for demonstration, support, as well as answers, you are the person that oversees the entire chapter, especially the executive board to make sure that things are getting done and that your chapter is representing themselves to the best of their ability! You are the main line of communication for your chapter when it comes to the Greek community, the school community in general, and headquarters. You also act as a mentor, I guess, in a way, because you are there for anyone at anytime to talk about anything they may need or want, relating to the chapter or not.
Favorite AXO Memory: My favorite memory from being an Alpha Chi is at Greek Jam last year (2009) when our girls put all of their effort into doing the best they can and representing our sorority well, coming away with a first place win! I also loooooved being on the other side of recruitment because it really allowed for some major bonding time with my sisters and we came together to have one of the best recruitments ever!
Ice Cream Flavor: I love to get Oreo and peanut butter ice cream whenever I go to an ice cream parlor! It’s the best!
If you could be any crayon color out of a box of 112 crayons, what color would you want to be and why? If I could be any color out of a crayon box, I would want to be passionate pink, because not only do I love the color of bright pink because of the positive vibe that it gives off, but I am also 100% passionate towards anything that I do and anything I become involved in!
Chapter Relations and Standards Board Anna Prahl

“Coming from Chicago, 9 hours away from home, I didn’t know anyone else at Missouri State. Because of this fact, I decided to go through recruitment, just because I didn’t have anything to lose. I was never the “sorority girl type” but I figured that I would just go through to meet girls, but not end up joining a sorority. I was completely wrong – upon going through recruitment and meeting the women of Alpha Chi Omega, I realized that I was meeting people who would change my life. Before college I was an only child, but now I have 150 sisters, some of which will be the bridesmaids in my wedding, the Godmothers to my children, and my lifelong friends.”

Favorite AXO Memory: My favorite memories of AXO aren’t any of the big events. They are just the times sitting around the house, getting ready, watching movies, or just hanging out and talking with all of my sisters and being able to bond with them on different levels. Cape Fridays were pretty awesome as well =)
Ice Cream Flavor: I know I’m weird but I don’t have a favorite ice cream flavor. If I go to a place where I could choose anything I wanted I would choose: vanilla ice cream with cookie dough, caramel, & Reese’s!
If you could be any crayon color out of a box of 112 crayons, what color would you want to be and why? If I could be any crayon color I would definitely be lime green! Not only is it the color of my awesome VW Beetle, Norman, but I feel like lime green truly describes my personality! Lime green is a fun, bright, and happy color, and I feel like I am all of those things!

I have been able to get to my sisters on a whole new level then before and it has been a great experience overall. Another great memory was recruitment. There was no better feeling than seeing all of our hard work being paid off as we watched all of our new sisters run to the house on bid day! It also made our chapter stronger and I have never been so proud to be an Alpha Chi!
Ice Cream Flavor: My favorite ice cream flavor would have to be cookie dough!

Fraternity Relations Lauren Fisher
“Though I was excited about going through recruitment and joining a sorority, once I did I was a little hesitant to become active in it, because I was homesick and not even sure that Missouri State was where I wanted to be. I started my second semester with a new roommate, who happened to be one of my sisters and not only did I become very close with her, but I started hanging out with some more of my sisters on a regular basis and by then it was hard to imagine my life without them. Now that I live in the Alpha Chi house and better yet am on the Exec Board, I’m not quite sure where I would be without the women of Alpha Chi Omega. They’ve taught and allowed me to be the person that I want to be and I truly admire these girls for who they are and what they mean to me. While I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do after my four years in college are over, I know for sure I will have my Alpha Chi sisters there for me for the rest of my life.”

I also organize both Mom’s Weekend and Dad’s Weekend to show our parents how amazing we Alpha Chi’s truly are!
Favorite AXO Memory: While I can’t choose just one favorite Alpha Chi memory, I will say that I love living in the house and getting to be a part of all of the random activities that are constantly going on! I love just staying in and watching a good chick-flick with my sisters in the TV room or just lounging around and laughing until it hurts. But I guess some of my favorite memories are our formals, because it’s so much fun getting all dolled-up for a fun night with your sisters!
Ice Cream Flavor: My favorite ice cream flavor would have to be Better Batter from Maggie Moo’s! The ice cream is amazing and I could be a little partial to it because I’ve worked there since I was 16!

There is always sometime to cry to, or someone who will make you cry from laughing so hard. I don’t want to imagine my life any other way.”
